Monastery of Sipeyn
MOUNT PETRAS, HOLY MONASTERY OF SIPEYN
THE YEAR OF JUTE 625
The hymns of an ancient, guttural language are chanted through the dusty monastery, the entire monastery's holy men, dressed in drab, olive colored robes, pray to a massive carving of a man standing on a road made of diamond in a city on top of the clouds. A contraption on the wall makes a tick along with their chant, a metronome-like click between each of the holy men's words. Candles surround the holy men and the carving, the man in the icon staring down with a gaze and a bow, suited in a burgundy colored robe.
Something will happen here soon.

Re: Monastery of Sipeyn
A troop of monks surround a messenger from the South, his dark skin a rarity to the many pale, frail men. His voice booms across the monastery.
"The expedition was met with failure. Local natives killed all eight of the monks, executing them in public eye. Sources confirm Kapetánios Hutte was killed along with the monks, as well as the faithful and friendly translator. These heathens refused to listen to our words, and our attempt to contact them diplomatically. The Emperor sends his regards, brothers, and says that he will have his finest swordsmen punish these heathens and make whoever leads them kiss all of Sipeos' feet as forgiveness for the grave sins he has committed. Jute bless, brothers. Peace be with you today, mourn your brothers that have died."
Soon, a mission for the dead is held, and all eight monks are glorified in the beautiful monastery.
