C.C.T Charlie Base "Prefab Jungle"

The base was a maze of prefabricated structures bought down from the passing frigates, large trees fell to make space for the new expansions and in the off distance, a whole hillside was in the process of being burnt to a crisp by clearing bots, with the smoke rising and descending on the camp, visibility was poor and gas masks issued. Guards and scientific personnel strutted around in their gear, going from structure to structure with clipboards and observations. A scanning depot would be towards the rear, dispatching small drones to search the surrounding forests. Obviously the camp is built to look for something.

A small shuttle Nakar origin would burst into open space and head down toward the planet.

As the Nakar craft entered, it would get a view of the very green planet, which was divided into small continents scattered along the wide seas. A single Type 44 frigate, named 'Mainstay' was sitting in orbit. It was accompanied by a supply barge, fresh off the supply line and not even named. The supply barge would be first to notice the Nakar, activating it's point-defense and warning the frigate, which would warm up all offensive and defensive weaponry. As that happened, it would hail the Nakar. The Captain speaking as soon as the connection got through.

"Captain Taggart speaking, state your business, Nakar.

Eversince the broadcasting started by GUARD, captains had been updated with special protocol handlin the Nakar.

++CCT Vessel, Captain Taggat, I have come to this planet with intentions of excluding you, in our minds, from the rest of the ignorant human races, we realize your intentions are not vicious and we have come to honor claims of a trade agreement from long since past. Things would be much easier from a vessel to vessel direct contact line, or a meeting.++

Type 44 Frigate 'Mainstay'.

As the request for screen-to-screen was notified to the crew and accepted, the Captain would sit center, a camera activating located just above and infront of his desk. A screen projecting the Nakar Captain to him. He'd already notified the Gestapo on the possibility of interrogation and the officers present on the ground prepared, they'd simply abduct a member of the captains retinue, brain wash him, then release him back to them, a backstory and all included of course. He only had to get the Captain down on the ground.

"Yes, a meeting on the planet would be easiest, new accomadations allow us to provide you with a real meal. Much better suited for talks of diplomacy like this.".

No sooner had he said this the call was cut short and the ship launched a small drop ship with an eerie green glow about it, this then shot down to the planet.

It would be directed by the frigate towards a facility closer to the North pole of the planet, the drop-ship from the frigate following suite on it's own path. The facility itself was huge, something like the size of a small town and the entire thing dedicated to the military technology being developed. Far off into the rolling hills North, communications centers could be seen, presented by their large transmitting structures. There was a obvious landing bay to the south end of the base. Plain tarmac, the lines painted on looking spotless and designating the areas to land, the taxilines and the personnel walkways. As the Nakar craft hovered nearby, the tower would communicate with it.

"Nakar Craft, your designated landing zone is pad 14, it has been lit green for you.".

The tinted lights surrounding the pads near the Nakar drop ship would be tinted red, one far off pad flickering off and returning on in green. Mainstays Type 2 would be landing opposite it and the security force was already on scene. It consisted of two Type 4 AMC's and a detachment of Type 515 donning infantry. Standing in center was someone highly out of place and preparing to leave, but had decided to delay the departure to attend the meeting. Lord-Authority Rearden a tanker at heart, his actions and sacrifice in the Civil War leading the first Coalition tank battalion, and proving that the modern armor was highly reliable, he was given a spot on the Lord-Authority roster, making him a prime target as the fighting escalated leading him to lose his jaw when his own Type 4 was hit by a ground assault aircraft. His natural voice was long gone, replaced by a steely, robotic one produced by his fake vocal chords.

"Remember men, a Alien cannot be trusted. What the Alarei did was proof of this, they're all the same. Don't turn your back on these abominations.".

The Captain from Mainstay would join Rearden, waiting for the Nakar hatch to drop.

The Nakar craft becomes audible, the crafts engines rumble with such ferocity to cause an uneasy feeling in a human's stomach who was in close proximity of the craft, the ship lands on the tarmac, to the humans, it was pretty big, the hatch slammed on the tarmac and a cloud of dust came from the interior of the craft.

4 Legionaries first came from the ship, towering the humans at 7 foot 4 each of them, their armor was black, glinted with an eerie blue light, 2 of them were armed with Fleshhunter Carbines, everything about this race made them uneasy, their helmets had a green laser spotter attached to them, the humans and the environment was being scanned, information was holographed onto the ground, none of their faces were visable, only the haunting green light that shone from behind their Harkhelms even though they were wearing helmets they were visibly turning their noses up at the men, these were real Nakar, as clones wouldn't have such prejudices.

It was then that a thumping could be heard, from the top of the gold trim stairs of the ships ramp came an grotesquely armored and medaled Admiral, he stood at 9ft, combat enhancement drugs had made him a somewhat superior being, he jingled and cracked as he clamped down the stairs, then in what would look like a quick beam of energy from his 4 subservient Nakar, he had in his mind what he was looking for, he yelled out in a strange language that sounded roughly like human Latin, and it was quickly translated into rough English, with a rather posh British accent.

"EBI ORNO CAROFICAKNI, ERIT FORWEY ORT MATRA-*Kzk* And who is the leader of you men I am sent here to discuss terms with?"

The Lord-Authority would look on, not intimidating by the tall beings. It only gave him doubts of how they'd perform in a war, taller people were easier to shoot at afterall. After the Admiral was done shouting the Lord-Admiral would raise his hand halfway lazily, beckoning to the admiral it was him.

"That would be me, I'm Lord-Authority Rearden, this is Captain Taggart. If you'd follow us please.".

A Type 14 utility truck would pull up, the flatbed behind fitted out with basic benches for the visiting delegates.

"I apologize for the lack of grace, but you're stature means you would not fit in any of our typical transport vehicles.".

The Captain and the Lord-Authority would get into a jeep parked infront of the truck, waiting until the Nakar loaded up before driving into the facility. Towards the Officers Mess Hall.

At the mention of getting in the truck one of the Legionaries standing in land let loose a snigger, which then seemed to infect his comrades.

The Captain looked at the Lord Authority "Unless you want to exceed *Kzk* 50, mmmmmmmMmIL- Miles? Per Hour? Strange. We can run alongside. On this flat tarmac, I think it would better to stretch ourselves out."

8 More Legionaries came out of the craft, one of them was carrying the fearsome Rad-Cannon.

"I'm wondering about my personal security, they can accompany me, I assure you I want to go through with this deal, but I don't think such vehicles could support our weight or 12 of us."

Rearden would sit up from the back of the jeep, the roof pulled down to let the sun in. Chuckling straight back at the Nakar for his claim.

"I assure you, if these trucks can carry two of our King Lynx heavy tanks, they will easily carry you and your delegate.".

He was right, the trucks had tremendous carrying capability. So much it was rarely put near it's stress points. After another moment of observation Rearden would point out the Rad-cannon to Taggart.

"I hope you plan on leaving that outside, because theres no way you're carrying that heavy weapon into a enclosed environment.".

"Aha!"

From the background one Nakar firmly points at the other one with the rad-cannon, seemingly overhearing the murmurs of the conversation.

"Eri mordka Vanadeum porch na 'Neavi Veaiponum HAH HAH HAH!"

The Nakar with the rad-cannon looks at the captain and shrugs then walks over the Nakar who made a joke and with an audible ding, smacks the creature in the helmet of his suit. "Skortna, mefium diarum forz humanitas embarriabat."

Vertio can be heard gargling, in a downward pitch. He turns back to the humans. "That is no heavy weapon, that is a standard issue weapon of our armed forces, it just may seem that way compared to your technologies, such as the Panzershreck of 1944, in the case of the loading, my Nakar will gladly load up, NAKAR!"

The 12 creatures shuffle onto the back on the two truck, each of them weighing roughly 320 kilograms each, with armor, stamp into the back of the loader.

The truck would handle them fine, lowering a tad but that was the only noticeable expression. The security force would climb up with them, confident in their weaponry and armor to dispatch of the Nakar quickly if needed. They'd all sit down, nearer the cab.

Once the two vehicles reached the mess hall, the escort would disembark and wait by the door. If they tried to take the rad cannon in the soldier would simply raise his hand to stop him. If he didn't comply they didn't go in. The Nakar could laugh all they wanted, it was really the least of the Lord-Authorities concern.

At the door, the rad cannon compacts and compacts into the Nakar's shoulder until it appears as a shoulder pad, with that another Nakar waits with him punching him slightly, those two would wait, as the Captain walks, the spinal plate of his armor moves up an a bio-organic centipede comes out and crawls over his armor, it would be synthetic, it appears to be doing small time cleaning of his armor.

Things weren't as easy as thought, though; both the Nakar frigate and CCT tracking systems would detect a massive energy fluctuation, and the bright flash of a jump being completed flooded the space near the Nakar vessel.

"Combat jump complete, distance to target is five hundred kilometers!"

"The CCT?"

"They have detected us, we are transmitting IFF now."

"Launch all squadrons, stand by to commence battle plan!"

The CIC was geared up for battle, but not with the panic that often overcame officers when they knew their destruction was near; they had a perfect target that couldn't hurt them at all, and the way to destroy it without even sweating. They were going to swat the Nakar frigate out of the face of the system they were located in, and the Admiral was going to enjoy every bit of it; she was going to savour the feeling of killing some of the people responsible for attacking Earth, and she was going to see to it that there was little more than ash left when she was done with the soon-to-be wreck. The Nakar frigate flashed red on the holographic map in front of her, and she smirked; the various arcs that represented the firing angles of the fleet's turrets rapidly turned to align with the Nakar vessel, and a target reticule was placed over it; game over.

But it wasn't just the weapons. The triangle that represented the Carentan flashed blue and the international symbol of radiation was overlayed above it; it had opened its nuclear missile tubes, and the warheads were being prepared for launch. And there was more: forty circles appeared throughout the fleet, with various identifications above them: fighter squadrons.

"Batteries have fixed target bearing, skipper!"

"All fighters are in the air and are closing in on the target!"

"Nuclear missile prep underway, ETA three minutes!"

"Weapons report lock on the target's FTL drive!"

"The Orion has aligned its spinal battery, it's preparing to fire!"

Any other officer would have found the river of reports confusing, but not Admiral Shaw; she had fought the Alarei with deadly efficiency, and she had destroyed three of their dreadnoughts without taking any damage. A simple Nakar frigate was nothing compared to that; it was a mere bug, waiting to be squashed by the 22nd Carrier Strike Group.

And it was time.

"All systems report nominal, standing by to engage!"

A rare smile formed on the Admiral's lips; all the pieces were in place. It was time to move on to the check-mate. This was more than a military operation; it was catharsis. It was the way for the United Systems to cleanse the galaxy of the Nakar scourge, and even though this was a small step, it was a start. Instead of being sent to investigate the Nakar distress signal, Sanctuary had issued the group with new orders, and she was about to carry them out.

She crushed her hand against the command table violently, yelling at the top of their lungs to issue that precious order.

"COMMENCE FIRE, CRUSH THAT BUG!"

Before the Nakar frigate had a chance to even attempt to spin up its FTL drives, disaster struck; the three battleships and two capital ships that had just emerged from their jump took aim and opened fire; the rail batteries launched a massive barrage of high-explosive shells at their target, the Nakar FTL drives. The entire battlegroup was being devoted to this; twenty eight sets of the USC's Rail Assisted Guided Explosives were launched from the turrets, using a series of tri-rail electromagnetic cannons to get some initial speed before activating their missile boosters. The swarm of fighters and bombers unleashed their own separate barrage: railgun fire and micro-nuclear torpedoes.

Before the ship explodes, it sends a signal.

On the ground, Vertio and his men are interrupted as their suits shoot reactant frag grenade armor and the units outside the door are overwhelmed by the immense atomic shells of the rad cannon. It wouldn't take long for the shoulder mounted cannon to level a lot of ground, any of the light vehicles or even some armor could have a tough time engaging the huge firepower that came from it.

Any infantry teams were quickly extinguished with potent frag and swarm grenades. Any infantry or men inside the airport around 10 meters of the Nakar would be quickly dealt with in the most inhumane way possible, men could literally be pulled in half, leg from arm under the immense strength of these beings, while being fired upon the suits then exposed some of their micro-atomic cores, the defense mechanism was used in scorched earth tactics and the Captain, nor his crew was going to be taken alive.

The Captains personal ship which landed on ground didn't leave orbit before the humans had arrived, it was already spooled from incidents such as that of Cold Giant, it was gone before anyone had a chance to shoot at it or become aware of an ambush.

The 12 soldiers on the ground would severely damage the airport and kill any CCT who were not quick enough shortly before detonating themselves in high yield explosions in an attempt to damage the structure.

Silence is all that is heard, when suddenly an absurdly large craft showed up in orbit, dangerous close to the U.S.C. and C.C.T. followed by a much smaller cruiser, both of which holding the emblem of the Red Army, though it was not obvious as to whom this craft belonged to, a new nation in this galaxy? Who knows, surely not you. For anyone in the area they would not be able to pin this faction to anyone and the writing was in what appeared to be an old-world language, "Russian". If anyone could translate it, they would see the R.A.S. Zanovich and on the much smaller cruiser, R.A.S. Katalia.

The mysterious beasts of metal and weapons sat there in orbit of the planet, they seemed to make no attempt to make contact with the Nakar, C.C.T. or the U.S.C., maybe they were just as confused by these nations as they were of it.

The Captain and his crew didn't have to worry about not wanting to be taken alive, the C.C.T. simply didn't need them. And seeing as they'd been noted in advance of the plan, the Nakarian delegate didn't stand that much of a chance. Though the original plan was for the group to enter the mess hall, the delay just let Rearden and Taggart get out of the line of fire quicker, Rearden pushing Taggart to the ground and following suite. Three hulking armored soldiers would open fire through the door on the Nakar, the gyro's built into their suits holding the heavy machine guns up, the .905mm rounds ripping through any armor presented to them, and at a incredible rate of fire. Shots from them would impact into the truck, parked directly out the door, but it didn't matter to them, the prime objective was eliminating the Nakar. Outside the door, where the rest of the security force sat, raised their rifles and aimed for the head. 8.14mm explosive rounds hitting with hard kinetic force. As well as two sharp-shooters in the ATC, firing their heavy anti-materiel rifles to disable the rad-cannon operator.

While all this happened, the Type 4's sitting across from the shuttle would raise their cannons, putting a shell through the nearest showing engine or air-intake. Their heavy machine guns spraying inside the hatch if it was left open.

Tracking Station.

The addition of the Soviet fleet only added to the situation over the planet, one operator shook his head.

"For a secret base we've gotten way too much traffic recently.".

The Frigate would be notified, though of course it already knew. And seeing as i'ts weapons were already set up and loaded, it could engage the soviets straight away. Leonis was contacted, asking for support from the Kotungan fleet as soon as possible. After this, the Frigate would hail the Soviet class as soon as possible, and seeing as the USC had assisted the C.C.T with the Nakar, they would be included in the hail.

The Soviet ship did not seem to respond for the first ten minutes, but eventually a response was sent in Russian. An old-world language that is almost archaic in these new times. Shortly after a shuttle was sent down towards the designated area or whatever the fuck they said.

Once the shuttle moved for the planet, they'd be ask to return to the ship, it was communications over hail and they C.C.T didn't really need anyone else to land on their WMD making planet.

The shuttle had turned back around with increasing irritation as they landed back on the ship and dispersed throughout once again, now the Soviets slightly irritated made an attempt to respond, the Admiral made an attempt to open up video communications.

"Enemy contact has been destroyed!"

Cheering erupted throughout the combat information center; they had done it. The Nakar frigate had been reduced to a pile of wreckage, and it wouldn't be long before the salvaging parties were launched to take the black box and other computer essentials; the United Systems were one step closer to finishing off the pests that called themselves the Nakar, and they couldn't have done it without their reluctant alliance with the Coalition of Cleansed Territories. But then again, they did have a common goal; the enemy of my enemy is my friend, as the saying went. The Admiral watched as the Nakar signature broke apart under the collected firepower of an entire fleet, allowing a smug smile to overtake her.

But it wasn't over.

"New contacts, bearing zero seven nine mark one one six! Capital and cruiser class! Distance, one hundred kilometers!

"Conn, sensors! No IFF received from new contacts, recommend enemy classification!"

"Conn, weapons! Estimated time to one SQ is one minute! Tubes seven through ten are being prepped now!"

"Hastings, this is the CAG, all fighters have expended their munitions, I repeat, we are at skosh ammo, requesting permission for a combat rearmament."

Of course.

More trouble in the horizon, in the form of two unidentified ships; although the United Systems fleet present in the system outnumbered and outgunned the new arrivals, it could be a matter of minutes before reinforcements arrived. If it was the Nakar, then the USC and the CCT could have very well fallen into a well placed trap; and Admiral Shaw couldn't allow that.

"Bring all batteries to bear on the new contacts, recall fighters for combat rearmament."

The enormous swarm of fighters that had just destroyed the Nakar frigate retreated back towards the fleet just as the massive turrets turned to aim at the Red Army contacts, their capacitors charging for the next salvo; the USC was clearly unwilling to take any chances. A blunt request for the Reds to transmit their identification was sent over multiple channels.

R.A.S. Zanovich

The Captain of the ship watched with almost minimal concern as his men began to focus energy to the weapons and redirect all weapons to to the U.S.C. Fleet, a direct comm-link is being requested on his own channel, he mutters with slight irritation as he looks at the video feed. The man moves a hand down to his side as yells out towards the basic AI.

"Open up communications!"

The AI did as requested and suddenly for the U.S.C. a video-feed would be opened up, revealing a broad man with a beard, and the massive flag of the U.S.S.A. behind him, as well as the emblem of the Red Army, he stands there quiet as ever for almost three minutes he just stares, before finally deciding to speak up. Russian.

"Greetings."

An almost snide smile forms on his lips as the man folds his hands and patiently awaits a retort.

As the ships finally responded, the Coalition forces would get their response out. It would simply be Rearden, who had rushed to the communications center and put himself in front of a camera to communicate alongside the captain.

"State your business immediately, this is a military installation of the coalition of Cleansed Territories and is a high security area.".
