Far from orbit of the planet, the Zeleniyan 3rd Fleet enters orbit, containing 1 Patrul class frigate, 1 Leokrasno class battleship, and one Burydi class carrier. From the bridge of the Burydi carrier, the mentally enhanced sailors operate their post with extreme efficiency, their hands flying about all over their holographic screens. One man, a cryptologist, calls out from one end of the bridge,"Captain, three unidentified ships in orbit, definitely not locals. Cross referencing the database reveals that they are The People's." The middle aged captain walked across the bridge, standing over the sailors shoulder and nodding. "Keep weapons powered down, monitor their ships. Comms, I want communications with their fleet immediately, and alert the squadrons and tell them they're code yellow. Nav, get into high orbit above this planet. Crypto, I want immediate monitoring of all native-based radio signals on this planet. Identify the groups, their purposes, find out if they're inherently hostile. You all know what to do." The several officers of the ship called out "Aye Captain."

A ping was sent to the People's fleet, from the Zeleniyan carrier.

The sight to be soon viewed by the might Sanjaro would be a sight of pure loss. The sea in front of his port had been painted red, and what appeared as black rocks at first, would show to be his dead, mutilated soldiers, arriving at the shores.

Back at Wolvay, the clean-up is 50% done. The rest of the bodies are piled up around the island to signify as a warning of sorts. The soldiers seem to have little trouble walking around the dead. Perhaps experience?
Next, military structures are set up. Anti-air, anti-ground, anti-aqua, barracks, and so on. Given time, the island would turn into an impenetrable fortress. The faceless soldiers appear to know no rest, working like a beehive.

"Welcome, Zeleniyan allies."

Seconds after the message arrives, the militia missiles appear. Immediately, the People fleet attempts to stop them from hitting their comrades, firing not only point defenses, but also simple kinetics and other missiles at them in an attempt to cease their existance.

Another damp, miserable day in Donnie's post.

Donnie's post was in a covered valley, up north, up far north. Away from very, very harsh winds. It was still -22 out there and Donnie heard rumors that if you pissed upward it would freeze. Donnie remembered back to the days he got here. How his ship crashed in the snow, and how he and a team of 20 or so mercenaries started a shitty little community up some bottleneck defensive point in the mountain. He was proud of his efforts, well, the things he told his men to build for him, but he guided it, by putting one of his men in command of planning the site. However Donnies deep thoughts of self-admiration were interrupted by a radio transmission. He grabs his radio and put it to his ear.

Watchman: "Donnie this is Darkshot 5, message.Over."

Donnie sighs deeply

Donnie: "Go ahead Darkshot."

Watchman:"There's some bears trying to beat down the outer perimeter to the west but if we shoot them I think more bears will just show up , what do I do here.Over."

Donnie:"Jesus I dunno Darkshot,.....just fucking light them up and if more come then it'll givus something to do."

Watchman:"Roger that Donnie..Darkshot out"

Shots are heard in the distance and some cheers as the men take pride in the their marksmanship skills however this light hearted enjoyment of the eradication of the beasts was short lived as a bigger sleuth of giant bears emerge from the nearby caves,the roars were as frightening as they were loud. Donnie ventures outside for the first time in days to see what the commotion is all about.Soon after his arrival the compound the alarm is heard and men's shouts and movements circulate throughout the post.

It didn't matter to Donnie because he knew that he had already dealt will the posts worse enemy, boredom.

The message was returned by the Zeleniyan fleet. "Zyvdrastuye, this is the Zeleniyan 3rd fleet here to gather information on this human planet for future planned development and peace keeping operations. We hope your aim is to-.." The message is cut short as an alarm goes off in the bridge of the Burydi class carrier. The lights dim and are replaced by a dark red light. An officer from crypto calls out,"Tovarisch Kaptionniy, we've got something fast approaching! It's a missile of some sort, maybe a nuke! No-.. it's breaking up into more missiles! More missiles incoming behind it!" The Captain takes a few steps towards the officer and raises his voice,"Power up point-defense, tell the Waczik to open fire with their missile armament!"

Unfortunately for the missiles, the Zeleniyan fleet was just now entering orbit, and had much more time for the missiles to reach them than if they were fired at the People's ships. The Zeleniyan fleet lights up with their point-defense guns all over their ships, with the R.Z.S. Waczik, the Patrul-class frigate, launching it's light missiles to intercept the incoming missiles.

One barrage of cluster missiles hits the shields fleet, the next one breaking through the shields and hitting the exterior hull. But it seems only a fraction of the missiles fired got through the defenses of both the People's and the Zeleniyan's fleet. The captain of the Burydi class carrier points to the engineering head on the bridge,"Power to the repair drones, launch them immediately to deal with the Waczik and the Polinov, and get a damage report as well. Comms, get the Waczik and the Polinov to send a damage report, and send a sit-rep to HQ. Crypto, I want to know where those missiles were fired from and who they are, now."

With combined effort from the People and Zeleniyan ships, most missiles would be shot down.

"Do you require mechanical assistance with your repairs?"

The transmission continues to the People Fleet. "Nyet, our repair modules are working on the minimal damage as we speak. I continue. We are here to gain information for future development and peace keeping operations. We hope your aim is to do the same."

A ping is sent to the Kal fleet. "Zyvdrastuye, Zeleniyan 3rd Fleet reporting. We are currently attempting to restore peace and establish a planetwide government on Kotunga. While we do not claim to be this planet's protectors nor its authoritative figure, any attempt to exploit this planet for it's resources will have diplomatic repercussions."

Inside a sealed, guarded room of the Burdyi-class carrier, the Burydi carrier's Captain, the aged and scarred Marine commander, a the head of Cryptology, a female diplomat, and a shady K.G.B. agent sat around a table with a hologram of Kotunga. The head of Cryptology, with wires sticking out of the back of his head and trailing down his spine, stands out of his chair, nodding to the Captain. He takes a pointer and saunters around the table.

"Cryptology has been gathering information for the past days, listening to radios, sending down a few listening probes, what have you.. Kotunga is rich with resources, and could very well be a proud nation. But it is beset on all sides by war." The hologram lights up with red circles in varying sizes. "What we've learned of this planet is that there are many factions that claim to be.. 'peaceful'.. Who wish to re-establish the government in their image. What we've found is almost all of these factions are belligerent and genocidal gangs. We have identified the gangs in power, and with the help of Diplomat Hrecza, we have found two possible factions we may sponsor. The first and most viable sponsor being the Liberal Free Fighters, not to be confused with the Free Liberal Fighters. The LFF are the most technologically advanced power in the planet by far, which doesn't really award much praise anywho. Secondly the eh.. Hinsa.. Hinsatmaka tribe. Farmers most of them. The diplomat and I believe they might be accepting of socialist ideals. Hell, we think most everyone would. In Kotunga it's dog eat dog. As for the rest of the factions, they are unfitting. Just boy soldiers with guns." The Cryptologist pauses, the map denoting two green squares where the LFF and the Hinsatmaka tribe reside. The K.B.G. agent shifts his dull eyes to the planet, the marine commander, then the Captain. He inhales deeply, meshing his fingers and quirking an eyebrow towards the Captain.

The Captain looks at the planet, then the agent. He nods once, standing. "I too agree with your suggestions, Lieutenant. We will make contact with the LFF and the tribe. The diplomat and her team will deal with pleasantries. Commander Lykharev will deal with the training of pro-Zeleniyan forces and establishing a 'green-zone' of diplomatic activities. I will make sure relief corps will be safely escorted into and out of the planet, as well as have an air superiority net over our green zone."

The table seems to unanimously agree in silence. With that, the Captain nods. "Very well, Ms. Hrecza, please brief your team for first contact." The woman nods curtly. The rest of the table stands up. The K.G.B. agent walks out with his own entourage of two other shady men, having not said a word the entire meeting. With his exit, they all exit, shaking hands and saluting and what not.
