The duo of communications soldiers follow after the guerillas into the cave. They both shed the hoods of their ponchos, the captain still donned his ball-cap, and he slowly eased the large radio from his pack and heaved it forward onto one of the many rocks within the cave. He opens the nylon protective covering that housed the controls of the radio; he also extended the large, flexible plastic antenna, he turned and waited for everyone to get settled for the makeshift lecture on simple communications.

The First Sergeant on the other hand only removed his ruck and placed it against the rock, his gaze shifted around the dark and dank cave, soon shifting towards the hosts, offering them a nod.

On the edge of the system, masses of purple and blue substances break away from a dark, encroaching figure eclipsed by a small moon. Immediately upon detection, the figure sends a string of mathematical integers out to an unknown beacon. The star shines on the hull of the figure, quickly revealing it to be a huge mothership shaped like the head of a mushroom of unknown origin - or, at least, unknown to those who have encountered it at the moment. Following it are an escort of five frigates, all of a sleek, narrow structure.

"84 82 65 78 83 73 84 32 83 89 83 84 69 77 32 66 85 76 87 65 82 75 32 77 65 68 69 32 80 82 79 71 82 69 83 83 32 69 78 68 32 65 76 76 32 83 89 83 84 69 77 83 32 65 82 69 32 66 76 85 69 32 69 78 68 32 83 69 78 84 73 69 78 84 32 83 84 73 70 70 32 80 65 82 65 83 73 84 73 67 65 76 32 83 84 73 70 70 32 85 78 71 82 65 68 69 32 65 84 84 65 67 75 32 82 79 89 65 76"

The Admiral merely motions to the holographic map,"The two F.O.B.s are all I can give you."

Two short alarms go off on the bridge of the space station, as a Burydi class carrier, a Kravenkov cruiser, and a Patrul class frigate move into position. "Wind-Father, gotcha'..."

Now the First Sergeant just stood there rather awkwardly, the Captain just then finished prepping the man-pack, saving the young Top from the awkward situated. The man sporting the ball-cap then turned to face the villagers, his voice raised in volume to overcome the pounding rain.

"I am Captain Meier, I will teach you how to use this radio. The Warlord of this area told me that you people are fast learners, so I take it that you’d be able to understand and teach others what I am about to tell you. I won’t bother getting specifics because they're not important! This is a Federal Service K-Eight-Eight-Eight long range radio; it works by picking up a variety of radio waves, ranging from low frequencies, to super high frequencies in order to communicate with ships in high orbit. It is rather simple to use."

The Captain then picks up the radio by the top strap, presenting it for all to see. His right forefinger then comes to point at a row consisting of four dials.

"This is probably the most important part of the radio, the frequency input! They are all labeled accordingly, the one on the farthest left being able to control the super high frequencies, going right to the high and so on and so forth."

The Captain then moves his pointer finger to point at a keypad and LCD screen on the upper portion of the radio.

"This is the encryption input, this is so those communist oppressors or anyone else cannot listen into our radio conversations. It is probably one of the most important things on the radio, save the frequency input. We have the encryption key already put into this radio, as well as the frequency. I would recommend not touching it if you wish to have safe, continuous contact with our TOC in this province."

Then Meier then moves his right hand towards a telephone receiver attached to the right side of the pack.

"The third most important part of the radio, some argue the most. The receiver. You hold this up to your ears and press down on the button in the middle of it to speak to those on the other end. You let go after. Make you sure you speak clearly! I cannot stress that enough, if you do not speak clearly, you will not get what you are asking for. Remember to keep it out of the rain. Any questions?"

The Captain then sets the pack radio down at his feet, looking from villager to villager within the crowd.

The Colonel would nod then sighing and looking back to the admiral and nodding.

"We'l make full use of them.".

The Scwalbe would be ordered to disembark the first sets of troops, which included about one hundred and fifty infantry for the F.O.B in the Viska province, by the end of the unloading their numbers would be near to seven hundred, with the advanced AFV's the division was known for. Once the first Type 2 came down to land at the F.O.B, the back hatch would drop and a officer would rush out, looking for the C.O. of the base, to make sure that he was aware the Coalition was taking command of the base. If all was well, unloading would start, Type 2's coming and going as quickly as their engines would allow them.

The gruff Zeleniyan marines were loading up their vehicles onto the dropships as the C.C.T. descended. They stared wordlessly as they marched into the dropship, some of them bouncing and bobbing on top of ZMP-2s. The Marine commander in a deep red beret stepped up to shake the officer's hand. "You are in the shit, son." He then walks off with his command unit into the last dropship, as it ascends out of the area.

The commander wouldn't exactly have a word to react. Deciding to keep quiet instead. Within the hour, the F.O.B. would be filled up with the new garrisoned troops. The bunkers carbon-monoxide supply was disabled by the combat engineers, of course after it was walked through for any Zelenyian left-behinds. As the armoured vehicles of the division were refueled and their ammo-racks loaded once more. Some of the larger and slower variations of the Type 110 Heavy Tanks, the C.C.T. wasn't expecting to use these for anything except infantry support, so the heavily armored vehicles replaced the need for emplacements, being covered on the sides and front by sandbags. The rest of the vehicles brought down were kept towards the back of the base. Once the first squad had been briefed on the situation, they were to be deployed too the nearest village to take note of the situation. Two Type 62 APC's were put aside to transport two squads to make their presence known in the region.

The small fishing village the squad approached became silent. The 200 or so Aranek stood in silence. Hatchlings were hurried into the thatch houses or into the trees. Large lizards with spears stand at the edge of the river, standing next to primitive looking rafts and boats.

The APC's would raise their autocannons, to show that they didn't intend to use them on the locals. The engines would continue running as the two vehicles stopped on the road. The commanders hatch on one of the vehicles would open, a audible hiss of a disengaging lock heard. A man would rise out, his upper chest visible as he took a megaphone in hand. Testing it before speaking, his raspy, broken voice echoing out.

"Please do not be alarmed, we are the Coalition of Cleansed Territories, we have come to assist the Zelenyian Republic in upholding peace and order for this planet.".

He'd wait for a response before giving his men the order to disembark.

"No questions, good. I hope you understand so we can work together in liberating the planet and your people."

The Meier picks up the man-pack by its strap and hold sit out towards the guard dressed in black, he waits for him to take it before speaking up once more.

"Tell your Warlord that we have also schematics for the weaponry we had promised, if he could come by our T.O.C and look them over in case they will not be able to suit your needs, that would be appreciated. That radio is also in direct contact with our T.O.C, you will more than likely be speaking with me, I am Captain Meier." The captain shoots a glance towards the currently blank First Sergeant, his left hand pointing towards him."Him, Top Kramr, or my up and coming Sergeant, Lex."

A mass of signals begin to emit from the massive ship, primarily unable to be determined as coherent. The main signal, first sent out, is in Base-64 coding, a simple code most likely sent as a warning or call for assistance from another part of space. Very soon, the massive mothership can be seen approaching the fleet, weapons apparently primed and armed. The closer it gets, the more signals are blasted out. Finally, the mothership must determine a mathematical integer to work, and soon sends one to hail the Zeleniyan fleet.

An elder limps out to the APCs, his left leg is a rusted prosthetic, in his left hand he wields a large staff which he uses to balance himself. He looks up to the vehicle commander with a blank expression. He then speaks in broken Slavnok,"Ccchhhto korobelik? Moya derevnya neytral'nym v delahk."

The large soldier takes the radio pack and nods deeply,"I.. Je-rak warrior, Neti Feranto. I sssend good messssage of developed weaponsss to the Warlord. We keep in contact. Watch your ssssector, death-breatherssss on high alert due to offensive in west."

The small Zeleniyan fleet and the orbiting command station go on high alert. Heavy missile pods open up and rise out of the hull of the ships, MiG squadrons are scrambled and launched out of their ships, they begin to circle the fleet, awaiting an order to engage. In the space station, amongst all the commotion, an officer speaks up to the Admiral,"Komrade Admiral, we are being hailed by the ship." The admiral nods, pointing to the officer,"Accept the hail and prepare to fire."

Back in the F.O.B., Agent Yushka had the bodies splayed out on operating tables. Surgical machines hanging over the tables dripped with blood on the tips of the various tools. He walks along the row of bodies, taking a crumpled bullet from one of the machine's pincers. He holds it up to the light, clicking his tongue. He lowers it and places it onto the table. He sighs, walking out the door. He turns to his assistant waiting outside and says,"I want a pig strung up on the firing range, I'm going to procure myself a weapon. I need to see something for myself. Actually, make that around 10 pigs. I'm going to be doing a lot of cross referencing for different rounds, Zeleniyan and local." The assistant nods, walking off to the mess hall as Agent Yushka made his way to the armory.

Na'shadda, Kalak-nu Province, Zaa'nabar surface.

The Captain offers a nod, and his mouth opens as if to speak, though the radio clipped to his chest interrupts him, a mix of German and light bursts of static. He holds up his right index finger, same hand moving to grab hold of the radio, he pressed down the receiver and says one word in response, then look up to the large warrior.

"That was our T.O.C, Mister Feranto. They seem to have some valuable intelligence. There's some sort of death-breather intelligence official based two kilometers south of our palace meeting point. I do not know how interested you lot are with such, but he is there. We have a team of men based in jungle about four-hundred meters away, there is a clearing two meters out and around the FOB, assumed to be a mine-field in said clearing. Just a heads up."

The Captain offers a nod to confirm his own statement.

Federal Intelligence Service T.O.C, Kalak-nu Province, Zaa'nabar surface.

The chief engineer handed the quick drafting of the two weapons for the insurgency to the craftsman. The artisan looked them over and shuffled them together, her head turning to the engineer.

"Damn, you're a genius. Stamped metal and fires a forty-millimeter shotgun shell, holy crap."

"Suit them perfectly, does it not? I mean, did you see the SIZE of them, they're about a meter taller than you."

"Alright, I get it. I'm short. When do you want these done, and are you sure we've got the resources to make these?"

"Only make one of each and give them to the warlord, he said that they have their own resources and are quick learners. They'll be fine."

"Whatever you say."

The Engineer then moved back to his station and the woman craftsman then got to work, fitting herself with safety goggles and beginning to cut and shape the parts needed.

The Lieutenant would feel stumped for a moment, raising a finger to indicated "Give me a moment.". He'd lower his head down, and ask if anyone spoke Slavnok, after a few lines of ridicule, one soldier would nod and make his way to the back of the APC, standing near the back hatch and coming to face the Elder. He'd picked up tidbits of the language from his gambling days on the Navadiny station, before he'd gotten in trouble back home and was forced into the army instead of prison. Taking a moment, the soldier would speak, with enough errors to make a language teacher cringe.

"We.. enter help Zeleniy.. you rule this city?".

The elder looks over the village, then back to the man. "I preside over my village. You are not of the previous soldiers. You require no filters." He lifts the cane up weakly to the man's face, his arm trembling. He lowers it, leaning against it for support.

Agent Yushka stood at the firing range, several pigs had been strung up down range. At each stall there lay a weapon. A mix of Zeleniyan weaponry brought to the planet and Aranek weapons. He looks over each weapon, walking over to the leftmost stall. He picks up the Kalishnikov 2360, and slides the magazine in, ratcheting the bolt. He fires 6-7 shots into the pig, which sways on the hook with the bullet impact. He then sets the weapon to safety, ejects the mag and the chambered round, and moves to the next weapon. He moves down the line, firing 2-3 round bursts a few times with each Zeleniyan weapon.

Then he gets to the Aranek weaponry. All the Aranek weapons have been modified with bipods to assist with the weight. He heaves a little as he brings each weapon to bear against his shoulder, firing the large caliber guns into the pigs as well. They shred the pigs apart. He sets the last Aranek weapon down and crosses his arms, looking at the pigs. He walks out of the room and takes off the protective ear muffs, handing them to the quartermaster behind the desk. He walks out of the armory with his assistant, speaking to him as he does,
"I want the pigs in autopsy immediately." The assistant nods and walks back into the armory, as Agent Yushka returns back to the dead soldiers. He walks in the room, picking up the plastic baggie of crumpled rifle rounds, covered in coagulated blue blood. He mutters,"Just what is going on in Zaa'Nabar?"

The Lizard Warrior replies,"We have not the.. capability.. to attack the death breatherssss. Not in thissss province."

The lizard elder nods,"Peace, as Commander Jelkov say. Very well."

All across the Pro-Zeleniyan/Rebel line, sporadic fighting was heating up. Zeleniyan heavy mechanized divisions were moving to mount an assault, as runways on several bases inside Zeleniyan territory were filled with jets on standby. The Zeleniyans were planning something massive.

The soldier would nod, he'd look around the jungle surrounding them. After talking with his major for a moment in private he'd return.

"We will return to talk of diplomacy, we must continue patrol.".

The commander would nod his head, clambering into the back of the APC and returning to his position in the Cupola. The soldier regaining his seat in the passenger compartment. They'd advance past the village and further into the jungle, opting to make their presence known to the insurgents of the region, then back track too the base.

As the mechanized divisions approach the front lines, the rumbling of their tracked vehicles shakes the very earth around them. Loaded up ural trucks and UAZs race in front of ZMP-2s and Tetrovka MBTs, rolling down the Zeleniyan constructed highways.

A radio broadcast is sent from the Zeleniyan Command space station, a voice stating,
"Operation Pest Control is a go. Operation Pest Control is a go. All units, all units, you are green."

The tanks rolled down the Aranek captured highways, punching a hole through enemy lines. They are met by captured Zeleniyan anti tank weaponry and vehicles, but push onward, their reactive armor plating making AT rounds rebound and deflecting ATGMs. As mechanized infantry sweep through the forest, jets soar over the skies, doing CAS runs on enemy positions and napalm bombing the forests ahead.

The Aranek become overwhelmed, they fall apart, lose unit cohesion, and their front line. They are pushed back, encircled in some places, and forced to retreat. They can do little to stop the full force of the Zeleniyan army bearing down on them with full armored support.

As the CCT soldiers would patrol the provinces, they can hear the distant gunfire, jets soaring past the distant dusk sun. Overhead two Yelenov-6 gunships fly fast and low, their underbellies almost brushing the treetops. They fly a half a kilometer north from the CCT's position, and break out of tree cover into an open plain. The Aranek soldiers already there were expecting them, and were dug in. They fired their small arms and their three captured ZShKm machineguns.

The rounds deflect off the titanium cockpit of the gunships. In an instant, their pilots fire off a burst of 80mm HE rockets from their rocket pods, their gunners letting loose on the 14mm cannons. The gunships soar over the Aranek positions, coming around for another gun run. The few lizards remaining poke their heads above their trenches. They crack open the olive drab crates in their trenches and pull out the captured Iglas. As the Yelenov attack gunships come around for another run, the lizards stand out of the trenches and zero the missile sights onto the helicopters.

They both fire their strela missiles at the rockets. Both of the Yelenov gunships get the early warning and start flaring, but one of them is hit by the rocket. The other one pulls off and flies away as its wingman spins over the Aranek encampment, crashing into the trees far behind them. It begins to cook off loudly as the Aranek tote their missile launchers in the air, roaring loudly.

The ship hung in high orbit above Zaa'Nabar. No one knew why it was there, not even the admiral. The sleek black ships of the K.G.B. and the Spetsnaz operators were heavily guarded by several fighter squadrons and two cruisers.

He awoke suddenly, coming to a jolt. Vinkov looked around the room, it was dark. His vision was hazy, or the room was filled with steam. His eyes slowly adjust, and he looked around. He tried to reach up to feel the back of his head, but his hands wouldn't move. He looked down to see his hands were strapped into the chair. He tried to move his legs as well but they were also strapped in. His head was pounding, that bastard Gorod could hit like a truck. Hell, he -was- a truck.

A door opened, followed by foot steps. Two men in white surgical dress entered, they were heavily augmented. Their eyes had multiple lenses, and they flicked around and changed as they looked at Vinkov. Another man stepped in between them as they moved on either side of him. He wore a heavy trench coat, his combat boots stepping into the light first, his body next. He took a long drag of a cigarette, his pale face being lit for a moment.
"You're a very slippery one, Agent." Vinkov looked at him in a daze, the massive pain in the side of his jaw was excruciating, yet he managed to say,"You know how.. stereotypical this is of you.. right? The.. dark room.. cigarette." The man let out a low chortle,"You're funny, Agent. You won't be so funny when I'm done with you."

He nods to the two surgeons as he exits. Suddenly, a ring of metal shoots out of the head of the chair and wraps around his forehead. His head is suddenly forced forward as he bends over into an uncomfortable position. The surgeons walk behind him and slide open a slot behind the head of the chair. They pull up a shiny tray of tools up behind them, and suddenly Vinkov feels a terrible burning sensation in the back of his skull. He screams, his whole body vibrating and convulsing in pain, but his head remaining relatively still. He feel them cut off the skin in a squarelike motion, and peel it away. They do it very slowly, deliberately. They knew what they were doing.

He sweats profusely, taking in quick, ragged breathes as he lets out another scream. They begin to pry away the computer chip in the back of his skull. It was the slowest, longest pain he had every experienced. Finally, it came loose. They dropped it in the surgical tray. He passed out from the pain after it was removed.

He was brought back suddenly, back in the original position in the chair. He cool feel the drying blood rolling down his neck and shoulder. He looked up to see the trench coated man stand before him. Vinkov looked at him with sunken eyes, jaw slacked. The man smirks, his lower face just barely showing in the light, the brim of his cap shadowing most of it.
"You are lucky.. Vinkov. Had you been as enhanced as one of our Spetsnaz soldiers, you would have to sit through that for atleast twenty four hours. Do not worry, we have patched up the hole in your head, synthetic skin. Don't touch it.. not that you can." He pauses, taking a step forward, his pale face showing now. He had a broad jaw, a stern, disciplined demeanor, and a nose that had been broken and reset incorrectly many times. "We've not much time, so you'll be getting to know me very quickly."

Vinkov began to lose conciousness again, as he slumped over into his seat. The figure became hazy and left the room, two large dark figures moving around Vinkov and releasing him from the chair, dragging him away.

Once they noted the helicopters the convoy would stop. They'd observe and listen in as they went down. They'd radio back to base about the shoot down event, requisitioning some armor support and drop ships to extract the crews. The two APC's would travel downwards to the positions, moving for the encampment, the infantry would be dropped off and walk 150 meters behind the slowly advancing APC's, they weren't sure of the Aranek position, but had a rough idea from the shoot down event.

Once the plain was spotted through the brush of the trees the engines would be switched off and the infantry would scatter to what cover could be found. All guns would be trained on the Aranek position, the APC's would fire first, 50mm HE shells suppressing the Aranek trenches. The infantry would aim for marksmen shots, any Lizard dumb enough to actually raise his head out of the trench would be greeted with a 8.14mm round.

From the F.O.B. the C.C.T. had control of, three Type 4B's would make their way straight to support the Coalition forces, they were first to get loaded and had the fastest engine, they were flanking tanks anyway so they had the speed to catch up to the convoy, though the Aranek still had time to get their shit together before the armor arrived.

Three Aranek standing above cover would be gunned down, convulsing and collapsing to the ground with a quick, wet thud. The remaining lizards would slink into the deep trenches and not poke their heads, they would start emitting strange, loud barking calls. Their little camp is ripped to shreds by the suppressive fire, the stolen Zeleniyan machineguns falling apart, trees falling atop them, the little command hut in the center collapsing inward. They still emit the loud barking sound, as it is returned in the distance, in several areas surrounding the CCT convoy.

It didn't take an idiot for the C.C.T to notice the barking were Aranek capable of flanking them. He split the four light machine gunners too positions where they could cover the jungle around the APC's, assisted by a single riflemen each to take more accurate shots between the suppressing. Of course these were just to secure the first shot because once the Aranek assault in one direction was slowed, the APC's would turn to eradicate them.

Behind the C.C.T. position and closer to their side of the lines in the war, the engines of a duo of Type 9's they'd come to a hover, far back from the Convoy, but that's all they needed. What was left of the camps trench-line would be meet with gunner controlled missiles, opting to go high and 'dive' the missile down into the trench.
