Well, you can't change what has happened and the Malverdian Invasion can be solved any way you look at it, the Racing is no was jeopardised at the minute as the conflict is far away, it just so happens that two things happened because I wrote both when I was awake this morning, it's not like they are tied

Rook get on steam.

Diety.

Well the one hundred soldiers lined up on the tarmac would be cut down almost immediately, it was a C.C.T. base not a joint one. The bodies would be moved off the tarmac quickly so that the aircraft could take off, Type 2's and Type 36's would start to take off, heading straight for El Manar, within moments Artemis systems in atmosphere and orbit would activate their jammers, El Manar's stationary and mobile anti-air systems would be shut-down. Fire would erupt throughout the city, as due to the Kotungans suspiciously rapid change of hive-mind like thought. The governmental building would be targeted with multiple bombings of different munitions. The base would lock down and all C.C.T forces patrolling would return, bumping up the number of garrisoned, well armed and armored soldiers, as well as numerous heavy vehicles and the base defenses. With the disablement of all the outdated Kotungan tracking equipment, air superiority was on their side, allowing Lord-Authority Fortnum and his delegation to be evacuated to orbit.

Orbiting Fleet.

The fleet had moved into orbit above Malverdi, weapons had been primed and all safeties turned off, if someone's finger slipped it could mean a nuclear holocaust for the people of the stricken land. The siege craft back in Coalition space would also been alerted to head this way and join in the bombardment.

"How many nuclear weapons are primed through the tubes?"

"Twelve on our battleship sir, another twelve on the combined frigates.".

"And in stockpile? How many combined, as well as the supply barge?".

"A rough one hundred and twelve sir.".

The admiral nodded, heading for the communications officer's workspace and snatching the microphone, nodding to the officer before talking.

"Fuego I know you can hear me, and I'm going to let you in on a secret, there are one hundred and twelve nuclear warheads which I have personally written Malverdi on, your technology is out dated and so are your ideals. Stand down and enjoy memories of your fifteen minutes in the sun in a prison, or continue fighting and watch everything crumble before you, your friends, family, your pitiful empire.".

The transmission would end and the silos would open, ready to fire on command.

You can't just wave off your blatant power gaming, especially the 100% unrealistic mobilization of your militaries and drastic increase in production of high grade extremely expensive installments such as anti orbital gauss cannons. And for the love of Christ use proper grammar

As soon as it had been transmitted, a tachyon transmission would be picked up by the C.C.T. forces, destination Sanctuary. Well the U.S.C. had already intruded on Kotunga enough, this wasn't going to be their chance to wrestle control. A transmission would be spread throughout the fleet.

"All craft, begin bombardment of Malverdi, call out targets, no blasts on the same place.".

And so they did, the war heads would be fired and head straight down for Malverdi, some needing to use their reaction control systems to adjust their orbits and touch down spots, almost immediately after the first nuclear devices entered atmosphere, point defense would come online on the fleet, in-case Artemis-system allowed a rogue warhead to continually stay activated in an attempt to damage the fleet. The missiles own, cheaper and unreliable versions of Artemis would kick in, disabling tracking on their positions as they descended.

The Office - Unknown Malverdi

Fuego was underground, however he was still wearing his glasses and his peaked generals cap, where exactly he was right now he didn't even know, the protocols for this sort action were completely beyond him.

"Well Fuego, what do we do now?"

"I think our luck is up."

"Lady luck always shines on Malverdi, nuked or not nuked."

"If they burn out a few hundred thousand square miles of lumber I will not be so impressed."

Javier and Miguel laughed as they looked at the man who was now joking and talking with them as comrades, not subordinates.

"Gentlemen, I think, it is time we went back to the pre-regime days."

"You mean like how we used to fight?"

"No, just wait."

Fuego walks over to a hard line phone, linked to an aerial surface beacon, somewhere thousands of miles away from his position, nothing to worry about.

"We will surrender, what are your terms?"

The transmission would reach the fleet too late, it didn't matter though. Just because the vermin of this planet had turned their stance once the odds had been stacked against them. The missiles would hit the island as planned, considering the nature of Malverdi. The barrage would go on until twenty-five warheads had hit the ground, forming the landscape of Malverdi into a bleak and unreal one, the landscape deformed, the tectonic plates shifting would spark up small tremors along Kotunga, weaker structures would probably fall. The fleet would have one last message for Fuego.

"I hope this is the vision you had for your disgusting waste of land that is Malverdi.".

El Manar.

Type 528's would roll out now, loaded up with rubber bullets, they would head straight for the governmental building, with the air support and mix of lethal and non-lethal rounds, it would be smart for citizens to back off. The soldiers inside would rush the building, their 8.14mm caseless assault rifles primed and loaded to take down anyone that proved a threat, their goal was to secure and detain as many Kotungan politicians for their own safety... or if they sided with Fuego, their executions.

Fuego and his collection of Generals and associated bodyguards, infantry regiments and operators onlooked at the green screen on the wall, on it was Malverdi, right now the island was being covered in small white circles.

"Bores, Hit, 55 Million.
Mendezano, Hit, 32 Mil.
Ranguina Docklands and heartland hit, 62 Million.
Paulito, 28 Million.
...Sao Linguano, Multiple hits, 242 Million."

The announcer grabbed a nearby waste bin and puked into it.

The generals were all looking rather pale around the committee table, hundreds of the these faceless fellows.

Fuego sits with his head in his hands at the top of the table.

"May our sons forgive us," he looks up "What in God's name did we provoke?"

The trees, the schools, the factories and about everything in Malverdi is cleansed with fire, the Sao Linguano bunker clusters do well against the heatwave, but are quickly bent out of shape and ripped off by the explosions.

The island itself, some of it support, begins to sink and crack off, many rich chunks of Malverdian raw iron sinks to the ocean floor to fall into these cracks of earth.

The operation was a success, or as much of one as a nuclear bombardment can be. The destruction and blasts could be evident from orbit, seeing as the huge megaton warheads had done a large number on the Malverdian continent. The numbers were forbidden from being estimated, same regulations as alien purges, to prevent de-moralization of the crew. The glass view sections of the craft were shut down by heavy-duty covers and communications with anything but Diety had gone quiet.

Diety.

Any civilians that approached would either step into the mine field, or be hit with a rubber bullet and detained, thrown into the dirt beside the airfield. The C.C.T. was taking no chances with the populace.

As ordered, soon a supply barge would jump into orbit, roughly the same style as a Type 44, but with limited weaponry and less crew so more space could be set-aside for stock piles. The armor plates on the left of the craft would slide upwards, stacking ontop. The insides being revealed to the darkness of space. It would seem basic, crates upon crates of ammunition, various vehicles parked alongside each-other in the adapted hangar. However one floor would be completely occupied by a form of satellite, six rods would be placed around it, with spaces in between showing the light-weight materials most satellites were made off, as well as the exposed wiring. Any craft able to pick it up would note that the rods would be made of Tungsten, probably hinting it was a orbital weapons platform. Targeting computers detachable from the actual Tungsten rods. Over the course of the next hour, the satellite would be moved into orbit over Kotunga, the fuel tanks were filled up and the last checks on computer devices were made. A extra six Tungsten rods were delivered to the battleship, in-case the satellite required restocking.

The Bunker.

Following the deaths of the Gestapo officers, the bunker's entrances were covered by whatever C.C.T. military forces were in the area, eventually each entrance would be reinforced with HMG's and AT weapons, and any Kotungan's attempting to leave would be shot on sight. Same goes for any that try to approach the blockades. The Gestapo officer and U.S.C. spy would be moved to Diety, the officer making sure that his prisoner was treated correctly. After thirty minutes of waiting, a Type 2 would carefully drop down two tanks of a unknown chemical, labelled "Object 7104". The tanks would be set up near the entrances, and left there until specialists were scrambled to deploy it.

Diety.

Considering the rapid events, the next step for most at Diety was to make the populace submissive and end the hostilities in El Manar, local radio towers, television stations and about any other medium would be commandeered so that a 24/7 broadcast would be available on every platform, a hastily recorded message made for the situation. It would be read calmly by a female woman.

"Malverdi has fallen, Fuego and the others have abandoned you, all hope is lost, stand down and allow peace to come.".

Camera feeds from the fleet above Malverdi would be projected on to all platforms as well, on each channel. Footage from flying Type 36's would also be broadcasted, the bodies of the Malverdian soldiers who had stupidly set up on the tarmac of Diety's airfield would also be shown, each one placed side by side in the dirt, face up as more aerial vehicles made use of the runway. The rough film was shot to demoralize the Kotungans into surrender, and hopefully it would take effect.

The Streets of El Manar were worse than they were before the scramble for turf, the populace now had things to destroy, Hinsatmaka, who's fate was long unknown, was crucified to the front of a Kotungan schoolbus, men leaned out the windows, shooting soldiers, citizens, anyone who ran the opposite way.

Fear and bribery caused citizens to join the cause rather than be killed.

Rape, looting a murder were rife, the city streets were as uncontrolled as they had ever been, problem was, every idiot and his camera were now filming the event, the consumer products brought in by the various companies of KOTPERI and the imperialists in their effort to calm the populace.

The North remained calm throughout the whole thing, being as oblivious to the regime change as the last northmen, they still believed they were fighting for the Kotungan army.

However the grand message, which has never been there for ANYONE before, was gratified, everywhere:

C.C.T. - O.U.T.

Obi Sanjaro sat content in his huge house in El Fawsan, eyeing Wolvay, he brought an advisor over, he put one leg over his "throne" and pointed one of gold burdened fingers toward the island "Who is ova there, are dose' muddafuckas over there? I wanna live there now, less bullsheet."

As the riots continued and grew into a moderate threat, the fire bombs would be dropped into the streets instead of the surrounding buildings, Type 2's would litter the skies. The cargo hatches open, soldiers firing blindly into groups of rioters, tear gas being dropped, and if a single bullet came close to hitting a crew member, canisters of "Object 7104" would be dropped, making crowds nauseous and eventually killing them from the inside. The gas disabling their vital organs, starting with the heart as the body tried to fight by vomiting. Where the rioters had become particularly weak from tear gas, gas mask donning soldiers with large riot shields and donning bulky EOD-like suits would be deployed from Type 528's, in their hands large stun-batons and attached to their waists were large sidearms, though it wouldn't matter with the air support knocking out any targets who were even close to harming these hulking men. Detained rioters would be left there in the street, tied and bagged. On top of the pre-recorded message, new ones would be sent out here and there.

"No one is coming to help you, there isn't a relief battalion for you, but we have regiment after regiment to mow you down if you continue fighting this guerrilla war.".

Morale would actually be at quite a steady level at Diety, they were sure the war was won. So they had no reason to complain, the Artemis systems disabled all missiles and detected anything like radioactive materials.

Malverdi.

Now that a conventional war was out of question, and Malverdi was a wasteland of bunkers, they simply had to find Fuego to call this a true success, a more psychological route was taken. Once again communications over wide lengths of Malverdi would be hijacked, one simply recording going through. A relic in most eyes, a song would play over and over. "I fought the law." covered by a Coalition music group which had grown in popularity. Of course with a little work control could be taken back, seeing as the C.C.T. wasn't going to waste anyone's time holding a communications line playing a song. It was more a one-off message for Fuego, wherever he may be.

The lights thudded on in sequence, from the walkways, the underground had opened, for good, and for bad.

It was an old bunker, long lost and thought buried.

The Serpents Lair was the once impenetrable bunker of old President Argyll Mendez, in Fuego's time, it was huge, hugely secretive and highly trapped.

Currently staffed in the bunker was Fuego, his cooks, his bodyguards, his Wife and two doubles, and his 322 Generals, with their bodyguards. Underground crop production and set food rations were kept minimal, smoking was everywhere, everyone smoked, so much so that some areas of the bunker had thick clouds in it.

The soldiers in the bunker, however rare they were, were trained regularly, using software rather than live ordinance. The Facility itself was much, much bigger than was unnecessary, it was 20 floors, each 20 rooms within themselves, the bottom floor however was a vast undersea construction. It let into underground submarine tunnels, with twisting and winding booby trapped underground tunnels, Malverdian deep sea cave divers were in charge of basic supply hunting, such as fishing.

Fuego himself resided in his board room, constantly reminding himself of how much he had lost. His boardroom of fierce generals eyed him.

"We estimate the surface will be become inhabitable in the next 400 years, Lord General."

"We MUST work toward establishing an anti radiation particle! I am SICK OF LIVING IN THIS GOD DAMN BUNKER!"

With that the general lost it, standing up.

"WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THIS HOLE IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU YOU ARROGANT SON OF A BITCH!"

Malverdian Guardsmen strode into the room, picking the out of line general out of his chair and marching him out of the room, on his way out the general screamed.

"YOU CANNOT SUPPRESS YOUR PEOPLE ANY LONGER, ME MUST MUTINY!"

The door slammed shut and a muffled gunshot rang out, followed immediately by a splat.

The Generals looked at eachother, then back to Fuego, who then stood up and said quietly.

"Let that be a reminder to all of you..."

"Jump complete, Admiral."

"Radiological alarm!"

That wasn't what Admiral Shaw needed to hear right now. It took a few moments, but the source of the radiation was at last revealed to the crew of the Hastings: the island of Malverdi. Judging by the size and spread of the destruction, seen through high-definition imaging from the Hastings' sensors, it was obvious that the CCT had bombarded the island from orbit. The casualties were estimated to be in the hundreds of millions so far.

The Admiral had had enough. She was bluffing when she threatened to launch against Kotunga's cities, but apparently, the CCT was not. Her face dropped at what she would have to do now, but she had been left with no choice.

"Tactical Systems Officer." she called, and the officer responded with a weak 'aye'. He too seemed affected by the casualty estimations; the Kotungans were humans, stupid humans, but still humans. Malverdi had been an advanced nation a few hours ago, and now, it was rubble.

"Set condition one SQ, order nuclear ship-to-ship missiles into tubes seven, eight and nine. Order all batteries to switch to salvo fire and obtain target locks on the CCT fleet..."

"We are going to fight."

Fuego's Palace.

The eerie silence of the compound would be broken by the jet engines of a descending Type 2 kicking up to full throttle as it landed. The back hatch would drop, two men in multi-layered radiation suits would step out, almost immediately their Geiger counters pinging up, but due to the advancements in technology over the years, the suits would be able to handle it completely fine, the radio built into the mens helmet would crackle to life.

"Alright guys, make a quick look through for any documents that might pertain to Fuego's location, we need it under twenty minutes before the weather kicks up a rainstorm."

"Copy command, we'll move quick.".

The two would turn on their flashlights, embedded just above the visor and head for the palace entrance, pushing the doors open.

Kotunga Low Orbit.

The U.S.C.'s sudden arrival would catch the fleet in shock, and considering the lock detection's and the U.S.C's weapons being powered up, it was evident the next steps they would take. The Admiral would take a moment before shouting out a order.

"Get point-defense online, scramble fighters from Diety, prepare for imminent fire I'm sure they aren't here to congratulate us.".

The accurate laser point-defenses of the battleship would warm up once more, ready to take down any threats to the ship. Each ship would prepare it's own weaponry, mainly kinetics and the ship-to-ship nuclear systems. The communications officer would hail back to Leonis, the fleet that had gotten the confirmation to demobilize and disarm was about to be recalled back into service. Snatching the communicator from the ground-communications officer, the Admiral would add his own personal note to the ground forces.

"Wrap up the situation and get that city under control. We need to be ready for immediate action, keep anti-ballistics online.".

Next, considering he had orders and wasn't able to engage without attempting diplomacy or giving a warning. The C.C.T. would hail the U.S.C.

"Considering your hostile actions when in orbit of Kotunga the U.S.C. is barred from entering Coalition space effective immediately, if you do not disperse then military action will be taken.".

USS Hastings, SCVN-85
Combat Information Center
Kotunga Low Orbit

"We need to strike first before reinforcements arrive, we don't know the exact size of their fleets!"

"No, our first priority should be establishing a foothold on the planet. Launch my Marine units, buy them time to establish a proper fighting front.""

"And what if they commence a planetary bombardment, or start firing at the troop transports? We just can't take the chance of attempting a foothold operation without full aerospace control! Our fighters can't support ground forces if they have to fight the ships in orbit!"

"Then we take them out, you and I both know that any locks against ground targets would be detected within our intercept window!"

"Marine short-sightedness, of course! Why do you people don't ever consider the long-term consequences of-"

"SHUT UP!"
Both men were silenced instantly, turning their heads to face their superior. Colonel Briggs, the Marine Detachment Commander of the Hastings, frequently argued with both the Executive Officer and the Chief Medical Officer due to his overly aggressive attitude. He cared for his men a great deal, obviously, but he could never pass up the opportunity to rack up a few more kills on his unit's operational record. At least, unless such opportunity was outright suicidal; and to him, a foothold attempt seemed very much survivable by the bulk of Marine forces. His direct superior, a Major General Keystone, was still aboard the USS Port Hudson, the Marine Command Ship of the Group.

The XO, on the other hand, was much more concerned with the CCT fleet. While the USC Battlegroup currently outgunned the CCT, they had no available reinforcements and could not tell exactly how many ships the CCT could bring within the four hour journey between their homeworld and Kotunga. It just seemed illogical to commit to a ground invasion with a few regiments when a full CCT Army Corps could be on its way.

The Admiral just wanted to get both men to stop their bickering, and she surprised even herself with the harsh order she yelled out at them.
"Both of you, can it! You are military officers, act like it! We are going to do both. Establish an aerospace superiority grid, any ships that approach us are to be destroyed immediately. Broadcast the zone coordinates so the CCT can't say we didn't warn them. Jump in the Port Hudson and the Contreras, put a few Marine battalions on the ground near the coast of Malverdi and begin establishing a foothold. I want any resistance to be crushed swiftly and efficiently. Bring in the tanks and the mechs, whatever it takes."

The two men nodded, and the Marine excused himself to implement the orders. The Admiral gave the XO one final task: connect to the CCT flagship. She broadcasted a simple message, making sure to say it slowly and concisely, as one would to a child. "This is Admiral Shaw. You have just committed an act of genocide, and the people of Kotunga have requested to be liberated from your oppression. You are requested to withdraw your forces from the planet within a period of one hour. If any of your ships get within five thousand kilometers of our fleet, they will be shot down. If you attempt to fire at our landing craft, we will launch a full nuclear salvo. This is not a declaration of war, not if you don't interfere. Hastings out."

USS Hastings, SCVN-85
Hangar Deck 3-A

"Attention on Hastings, scramble all alert squadrons. Repeat, scramble all alert squadrons. All reserve fighter pilots report to your fighters immediately. Squadron leaders, commence launch procedures and contact Aerospace Control. This is not a drill."

Major Polati did not enjoy the pre-flight chaos that usually ensued on the hangar deck. While the fighters themselves were usually ready, the pilots had to check and double-check their flight suits, commence the pre-flight check, sign off on the launch and then wait as their craft was brought to a launch tube for take-off. Right now, he was at stage one and two at the same time: he was trying to put on his spacesuit, while at the same time being assisted by one of the deckhands in his pre-flight check.

"RCS systems are good, main drive is good..."

It was mostly the deckhand doing the work, really. The Major, and also the Air Group Commander of the Hastings, was too busy securing all the armor pieces together and listening to the AI's diagnostic of his suit. By the time he put on his helmet and connected the magseal, the deckhand had finished the check and was waiting for him to sign the clipboard. He did so with haste, just as another announcement came through.

"Attention on Hastings, nuclear missile launch preparation underway. Missile tubes seven, eight and nine are now being depressurized. Damage Control teams, stand by for emergency nuclear material containment in the event of an accident."

"Attention on Hastings, Marine Rapid Strike Battalion 2, report to Hangar Deck One Bravo. Combat deployment in progress."

Polati climbed on the seat of his F-36 Cobra Mark VI with haste, connecting his suit's oxygen supply to the ship's port just as the canopy sealed. He didn't even have the time to watch as his fighter was pushed on one of the many magnetic rails on the floor and then guided towards the open launch tube, nor did he notice that the launch tube door sealed beneath him. He finally started paying attention when the atmosphere of the tube was vented, and the launch officer begun going through the pre-launch talk he always did.

"Cobra zero-one-seven, maglock secure, thrust nominal. All systems in the green, you are go for launch. Good hunting, Major."

The Cobra accelerated violently, being thrown out of the launch tube in very much the same manner as a bullet would out of a gun barrel; many dozens of its compatriots followed suit from the other tubes on the same side of the ship, while several Marine Chetco transports and Inuit lander craft took off from the inside of the landing decks and set a course for the planet.

+"All pilots, Hastings. Black Ball squadron, escort the marines to the surface, shoot down anything that seems threatening. Use of air-to-air nuclear warheads has been authorized. All other squadrons, assume defense coverage around the group. Reserves are being fueled and loaded as we speak."+

In total, twenty fighter squadrons, or four hundred and forty fighters, had been launched from the Hastings and its battlegroup; just half of what the group's aerospace superiority fighters numbered to. It would appear that a defensive perimeter was being established, and radiological scanners would indicate that the Hastings was in the process of venting its nuclear warhead tubes in preparation for a ship-to-ship launch. The dreadnought USS Orion had brought its main battery, the massive Artillery Cannon, to bear on the CCT Flagship, while the rest of the group had turned so their dorsal sides were displayed to the CCT; incidentally, the dorsal and ventral sides aboard a USC ship housed the largest number of turrets, seconded by the broadsides.

A pair of battleship-sized ships jumped in, but on closer inspection, they would appear to be transports armed only with point defense. They remained in the middle of the group, using the flak cover of the warships to protect themselves.

Throughout the battleship, crewmen would jog from station to station, some full out sprinting from one rest area to their workplace. Weapons control on the Tungsten system would be transferred to the Type 45 missile frigate, tracking of the U.S.C. landing craft would commence shortly after. Weapons would be primed and locked onto the dreadnought first of all. The admiral sending one last message to the U.S.C.

"This is not a matter of if we interfere. If a single U.S.C. soldier steps foot on Kotungan soil to defend the man who threatened planetary holocaust, then our nations are at war, of course it can be avoided by turning around and leaving.".

The hail would remain open, the Admiral awaiting a answer.

Diety.

The reserves would be loading up as soon as the threat of U.S.C. invasion was transmitted down, jogging to the quartermaster so they could receive their rifles. Some of the Type 2's from the KOTPERI track would be bought in to help the force mobilize, they'd total eight Type 2's in total, carrying fifty men as well as six Type 110 Heavy Tanks the other two Type 2's carrying two Type 55 Multi-Weapons platforms they'd sit on the tarmac waiting until they got the U.S.C's set down location. The previously used 240mm long-range artillery systems would be activated again and their loader crews back on duty.

The tension in CIC had reached critical levels. Slowly but surely, all gunnery stations reported in, and the hangar deck sent notice that the reserve fighters had been fueled and were in the launch tubes. Search-and-Rescue Raptors had been placed on the landing deck and were standing-by for take-off, ready to rescue any pilots who had time to eject before their vehicles were incinerated. But Admiral Shaw was not focused on these facts; it was the nuclear missile launch panel that had caught her attention. Venting was almost complete, and the missile tubes were about to open up and expose their deadly ordinance. After that, it would take a few authorization procedures, and the launch would commence. It wasn't a pretty thought, launching nuclear warheads, but with the flak turrets of the battleship next to the Hastings aimed at the capital ship of the CCT fleet, the Hastings was capable of knocking out its weapons and most repair subsystems within a single strike. With any luck, the Orion's artillery strike and the Hastings' nuclear weapons were capable of finishing the capital off if a battle was to occur.

But hopefully, it wouldn't get to that. Maybe the intimidation would be enough to get the CCT to stand down, retreat and contain themselves to at least a smaller area of the planet while the USC consolidated its foothold and established a defensive zone.

"Tactical, open missile tube doors. Release launch and warhead safeties on missiles seven through nine, arm the warheads."

"Aye! Opening missile tube doors... Doors are open, Admiral! Launch and warhead safeties are now released. Warheads are hot."

The graph displaying the launch tubes flashed red as the missiles within them switched from 'SAFE' to 'ARMED'. Any radiation detectors would detect a sudden spike as the lead-lined covers of the tubes retracted into the hull, and the secure clamps holding the missiles pushed them forward until their cones were exposed to the vacuum of space. Fuel lines were cut, electric cables were severed, and the nuclear torpedoes were finally ready for launch.

"The release of nuclear weapons is now authorised. XO, enter your launch key into the firing console."

The two officers slid their carbon composite keys into the slots, and the computer took a second to identify the micro-patterns encoded into the external surface and verify them as valid. A series of lights turned green, and the next stage of the launch proceeded: the solid motor boosters begun to slowly heat up, waiting to be triggered.

"Alright, now get me the CCT."

A second message was sent back.

+"Admiral, you and I both know that your fleet is severely outgunned by our battlegroup. My Marines will land on the surface, and you will tell your men to withdraw while we establish a defensive zone. I am giving you an offer: retreat to the other hemisphere and do what you want with it, but we are keeping Malverdi and everything in its own hemisphere. These people asked for freedom, and we are going to see to it that they get it. You have one minute."+

The transmission abruptly cut, just as the USC transports begun their re-entry. The prograde boosters shut off, allowing the craft to enter their final approach towards the island of Malverdi, with some heading for the nearest coast. Their fighter escorts remained in formation, locking their wings to a re-entry position to reduce atmospheric drag and the stress on the hulls.

The admiral would look over his options, until the fleet arrived and by all means, treaty or not they were coming, he was severely outgunned and ground forces would be stretched fighting the U.S.C's ground forces while holding out for them. Plus all the U.S.C wanted was nuclear wasteland and bunkers, the minerals had been lost to bombardment.

"On three conditions, El Manar becomes host to a district controlled by the U.S.C while the rest of the city remains Cleansed territory. All investigations into Malverdian bases in your hemisphere are authorized by you as we pursuit Fuego, if he, or anyone connected to him, is found by your government they are to be turned over to Coalition forces immediately. And finally, disarmament of all ship-to-planet nuclear weapons, by both sides, in the pursuit of avoiding more nuclear conflict.".

+"I can not guarantee that Fuego will be turned over to you, that is a decision for my superiors. We have not armed any ship-to-planet warheads, only ship-to-ship. Lastly, we want complete aerospace control over our territory. No sattellite or ship may pass the equator without permission, and if it does so, it will be shot down immediately. Is that acceptable?"+

It was a relief that the CCT was willing to talk, but the Admiral wasn't so sure it would last; a CCT fleet was on its way, after all, and it would most likely be a match for the Hastings Battle Group in any engagement.

"A Tungsten rod satellite has already been set up over the equator, it will be disabled when passing over your controlled land, to adjust it's orbit now would be a waste. And I would highly suggest if you wish to stay on Kotunga, that you put in a good word that Fuego heads our way, but sticking to the topic, are investigations into former locations frequented by him authorized.".

Down on Deity, the bombers would shut down and taxi back to their hangars, the need for them had passed and the ground troops that were originally assigned to engage the U.S.C. in Malverdi were redeployed back into the city, where the situation was bettering due to the large response made by the C.C.T.

"HEY! OBAY!"

Obi awoke, his bottle of grog rolled off his bed due to an explosion of the increasing rioting and smashed on the floor, he rubbed his head and kicked an obvious whore out of his bed. He groaned and then finally said.

"Whut?"

"The Spaceboys! They back!"

"So what, space boys come, and dey killa ma men."

"No Obay, the FREEDOM boys!"

Obi's eyes widened, he then finally said words he had long unused of recent.

"Get da boys, create more mothafuckin chaos, get ma army regiments still loyal, get ma politicians, and put me into hidin'."

Sure enough, within about 20 minutes various parts of El Manar would simply explode, huge civilian marches, that could not be suppressed by government censorship, as the people of El Manar got rowdier they expected police response to escalate, in the riots they became crazy, the city now was better called a civilian war zone, every man and his son was out shooting, every window was a firing point down on CCT units, it was frantic, they knew the USC was watching and they took full advantage of it, not only were bricks thrown, but guns were back into the fray, RPGs dipped in nails, corpse catapults, technical charged CCT riot squad positions. Behind them would be a man on a white, bulletproof windowed box, speaking into a megaphone.

"It is time to take BACK! What we have lost, dey fucked us! DEY FUCKED US HARD! And now, DEY GET FUCKED!!"

Before the man could even get a word out, he was labelled a threat by the marksmen in the Type 2's hovering above the riot soldiers and was taken down with a quick anti-materiel rifle shot to the head. Buildings being used as gunner positions would have tear gas shot in through the windows, the canisters heated up so that anyone trying to pick it up and throw it back would instead receive a large burn. The large bulky suits would protect the military-policemen from the nails and explosions, unless one landed directly at a soldiers feet, which would happen, his right arm being blown off as two members of his squad pulled him back to the Type 528. The Type 2's door guns would strafe the floors of buildings that hadn't been gassed yet. Overall though, the C.C.T. felt it had control of the situation, the Kotungans would probably have had limited ammunition unless they had been stocking up for several years, though they had probably wasted that on shooting eachother.

Deity.

The riots were becoming a pain now, nothing they wouldn't handle in due time, but seeing as the U.S.C. required a district, they had to get the populace under control through show of force. So a singular Tungsten rod was to be deployed, destined to strike at the cities center. The commands and set down point would be transmitted to the satellite, a singular rod being jettisoned, with a attachable thruster. The rod would be deorbited and the gyroscopes inside would keep it steady as the thruster detached and re-docked with the satellite. It's shape was that of a missile, but it was pure metal, so the best any anti-missile system could do was adjust it's course a inch with the explosion.

"Rod from God is inbound, just hit Mach ten, twenty seconds till touch down.".

At the speeds the rod traveled, it's orbital velocity would replace the need for a warhead, for once it hit the rod would have the yield of a small nuclear device, devastating the city center and damaging the buildings around it. As well as penetrating the next five underground floors, if there were any. The loudspeaker would come on again, broadcasting city wide.

"Every man, woman and child of El Manar are requested to lay down their arms, the C.C.T. only wants to bring this country back to peace, which from your actions we have not been able to do while we have held a foot hold. And until you lay down your arms, Kotunga will never be able to call itself a nation, only land of tribals and savages. We instilled infrastructure, a military to protect yourselves, and this is how you respond?".

Deity would turn the artillery guns on the city, waiting until it was needed to fire on a massed group of civilians. Hand sized drones would hover above abnormally large crowds, painting the way for the gunners once they were told to fire.

The riots would merely intensify, the explosions would actually trigger cheering and more frenzied charges, the Kotungans knew exactly how to play this.

"Do not stop my brothers, do not stop until they are ALL gone!"

The drones would be shot at by a hail of bullets from almost 100 guns, while the CCT were broadcasting many signals, huge amounts of a black propaganda campaign, either the CCT would have to block out the pleas for help, or in turn cancel their own signals, as there were simply too many Kotungans shouting for freedom across the planet.

It would be obvious that the situation on the ground was becoming to fierce to control, the tight alleyways of El Manar soon had riot police cut off and surrounded, the crossfire of heavy assault rifles, explosives, home made napalm and rpgs would ensure some sort of casualty among the peoples forces.

Considering the drones size and altitude, they could hardly be noticed and very hard to aim at. It would take too long of prolonged fire for the drones to be hit, long enough for a 240mm shell to destroy the threat to the spotters. As the ridiculous amount of Kotungans who had the bravery of the toughest soldiers in the galaxy increased, the napalm and RPG's would have little to no effect on the bulky suits the riot police wore. Gunner positions would be strafed by the door guns and then gassed. Radio chatter between the ground force and the escorting Type 2's would pick up as the squad leader addressed the aircraft.

"Alright, large scale 7104 drop. Shroud us and the entire block in it, our masks are on and we're covered up, deploy ASAP.".

The Type 2 would receive the order, the launchers at all three doors would be loaded up with only the toxic gas, which would then be dropped down into the streets, launched into the buildings and fired into alleyways also, the symptoms taking effect with the next breath a rioter took. Fatal and most likely knocking out the core of the attack. Anyone with a gas mask who made the mistake of continually fighting would either be shot by the aircraft or beaten by the riot-police and their shields.

// kotungans doesn't afraid of anything it seems

The rioters dropped, in their hundreds, but the CCT had aggravated the swarm, the Kotungan bravery was mostly short sighted, as the man who was able to kill and bring back a CCT operative was to be lucritivly rewarded.

Judging by the time the riot had been going on for a long, long time.
